Ken is a pioneer and an internationally recognized leader in the merger and acquisition (M&A) profession.  He is a past president of Chicago ACG, the M&A Source, and MBBI.  Additionally, he served as a past director/officer of the IBBA and ACG International.  

Since 1985 he has successfully closed engagements in every major sector of the economy. He is tracked and participated in every major M&A trend over the past 10 years.

In addition to the practice, Mr. Hoganson sits on the board of directors of Lovejoy, Inc. and for over 12 years held a senior faculty position at the Keller Graduate School of Management. He has written a several M&A articles for the profession and has authored/taught four advanced M&A courses for IBBA. 

He is a commissioned Nehemiah Minister.  He graduated from the University of Chicago with a BS in 1967 and an MBA in 1969.  Ken and Shelly have two children in college..

Harold is a Founding Director and Past President of International Association for the Leisure and Entertainment Industry (IALEI) and Chairman of the Board of LETS (Leisure and Entertainment Trade Show).

Harold has successful started, operated and eventually sold six different businesses at various times of his career including the Enchanted Castle in Lombard, Illinois.  Started in 1983 the Enchanted Castle grew from 10,000sf to 50,000sf over the years and helped coin the industry term FEC (Family Entertainment Center).  During his ownership of the Enchanted Castle he sold the business twice in the mid to late1990's and bought it back once.  During his ownership career, he used almost every form of financing available. In 1993 he won the SBA's National Entrepreneurial Success Award as well as being the third inductee into the SBA's Hall of Fame.

When not in their mountain home in Telluride Colorado, Harold and Beverly reside in Naperville, IL.  They have two adult children.

Bill Gibson is an entrepreneur and seasoned business executive with 14 years experience in business brokerage, valuation and consulting. Mr. Gibson is also licensed in Florida and Alabama as a Real Estate Broker and in Florida as a Mortgage Broker.

After fourteen years experience as the founder and CEO of a multi million dollar, multiple branch, wholesale distribution firm Mr. Gibson started Gibson and Associates, Inc. in 1992. Over the past 14 years Mr. Gibson has worked with several hundred business owners in determining the value of their companies for various purposes including expert witness testimony in depositions and in court. Mr. Gibson has also provided financing sources and ongoing business counsel for a number of companies.

Over the past 10 years Mr. Gibson has given seminars and workshops for business owners on exit planning, valuation considerations, “How to Sell Your Company”, “How to Value Your Business” and “20 Ways to Add Value to Your Business”.

Mr. Yam has years of experience as an investment banker, specializing in mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, valuations, fairness opinions, public offerings, private placements, venture financing, and privatization. He is a Director and President of the United States - China Chamber of Commerce, one of the fastest growing member support organizations that is dedicated to increasing trade and investment activities between the U.S. and China. He is also an Honorary President of The Five Districts Business Welfare Association, one of the largest business interest groups in Hong Kong. He has spoken in many conferences and seminars and has been interviewed by CNN, China Daily and many newspapers, television and radio programs.

Mr. Yam received his MBA from Duke University on a Fuqua Fellowship and his Bachelor of Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Wisconsin. Mr. Yam is fluent in both English and Chinese.
